You are viewing a nice set of 10 reclaimed tapered Dennis Ruabon Red Bricks that have been reclaimed from the window heads of an old Welsh Chapel, that has been demolished.
We have a few different profiles of tapered bricks that can all be used like the arch in the first image. The arch can be made bigger by adding more bricks and increasing or decreasing the space between the bricks.
We have altogether a good few hundred tapered bricks and also the untapered bricks, in the same profile, to carry on down the straight side of the window. We also have 2 of the keystones, as in the attached images, that will be listed separately for £150 each plus vat.
All of these bricks have been hand cleaned in our yard and show very little signs of damage considering the age of the chapel which dates back to 1897.
The width of these bricks has been measured on the front edge and as they are tapered the back of the brick is around half an inch wider than the front of the brick but please do enquire for more info and measurements if need be.
Measurements: 1) Length – 9.5″, Width – 3″, Height – 4″.
2)Length – 9″, Width – 2.5″, Height – 4.5″.
3)Length – 8.5″, Width – 2.75″, Height – 3″.
4)Length – 8.5″, Width – 2″, Heights – 6″.
If you have a specific size of arch, that you want to construct, just let us know and we can assemble a mock up in the yard and email some pictures through.
