Antique Reclaimed Vintage Cast Iron and Pine Welsh Chapel Bench Seat

You are viewing an antique reclaimed vintage cast iron & pine Welsh chapel bench, that has been salvaged from a chapel near Wrexham.

The cast iron supports were made at the Powell Brothers & Whitaker works which was located next to the railway on the outskirts of Wrexham town centre.  As the factory closed in 1927, we can say that they are probably well over 100 years old as the chapel it came from was built circa late 1870’s.

There are two of these benches available, with one measuring 67 inches long, and the other 76 inches long.

We have also refurbished items on both benches to tidy them up.

We also have a number of other items from the same chapel…including – Pews (6ft & 12ft, an Alter rail, Stained glass panels and pew frontals.  Please enquire for more details.

Listed price is for one bench collected from our yard, but we can arrange delivery via pallet courier or our own transport.

We can arrange to deliver the pew anywhere in England & Wales as per the cost on this listing.  If not too far from our yard, please contact our office as we can deliver on one of our vehicles  For deliveries to Scotland, NI & ROI also please get in touch with our sales office for quotations.

These benches and other items can be viewed in our 3 acre reclamation yard based in Shropshire, during normal working hours.
