You are viewing a vintage Victorian reclaimed pitch pine flip over railway bench, that has been salvaged from an old chapel in North Wales.
Although this was salvaged from a chapel, it would originally been used on a railway platform. Travellers could ‘flip’ the back rest to suit whichever track they wanted to face, whilst waiting for their train.
It has a pitched pine seat and back rest, mounted on cast iron legs. The back rest is able to be ‘flipped over’, so you are able to sit one side or the other.
The bench is 6ft long, and is in need of a small amount of refurbishment.

Listed price is for the bench collected from our yard, but we can arrange delivery via pallet courier or our own transport.
