You are viewing this lovely and quite rare Welsh Penrhyn slate gate post that was carved in 1881 for a house or farm called Hydref.
As can be seen in the photos it has some wear and tear commensurate with age but is in good solid condition.
This could once again be used as a gatepost or repurposed and used as a shelf or similar both internal and external.
The gate post measures around 55″ tall by around 14″ wide by 2 1/4 inches think.
The listed price is collected from our yard but we can arrange delivery via our own transport or pallet courier.
The post can be viewed in our 3 acre reclamation yard, based in Shropshire, during normal working.
