You are viewing a reclaimed Victorian antique reclaimed cast iron machine base / table base that we have in our showroom.
This type of cast iron base would once upon of time been used in an industrial / agricultural setting, perhaps as a base for a grinding wheel.
Given a nice piece of wood mounted on top, it would make a fabulous centre piece used as a table.
The piece measures 33½” x 36″ at the base, which tapers in at the top to 22½” x 25″. It stands 30¾” (780mm) tall.
The listed price is for the base collected from our yard, but we can arrange delivery via pallet courier or our own transport.
This base and other items can be viewed in our 3 acre reclamation yard based in Shropshire, during normal working hours.
